Toolshop Engineer

Requirements:

Technical university degree (Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Materials Technology, etc.);

Minimum 3 years of experience in plastic injection molding and tooling;

Strong CAD design skills (SolidWorks, CATIA, AutoCAD, etc.);

Experience in the design and maintenance of plastic injection molds;

Solid knowledge of plastic materials and injection molding processes;

Strong analytical skills and ability to solve technical problems;

Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.

Your responsibilities:

Provide technical support for the mold maintenance department;

Identify and troubleshoot technical issues related to tools and molds;

Propose technical solutions to increase efficiency and reduce scrap rates;

Design and implement improvement solutions for existing molds;

Participate in technical meetings and evaluate new tooling projects;

Offer technical support to the sales team during the acquisition of new tools;

Establish technical specifications and requirements for tooling purchases;

Collaborate with mold suppliers and internal departments;

Participate in the launch of new products or production series;

Ensure compliance with ISO standards and internal procedures within the tooling process.
